We have undertaken projects of all types and sizes mainly throughout the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, however we will take on work anywhere in Australia, if called upon to do so. We have vast experience and expertise in new dwellings, large alteration work, first floor additions, detailed fit outs and small mixed commercial developments. We offer a turn key operation which means that our clients always benefit solely from our knowledge. Wayne Black and Associates Pty Ltd. is headed by local Architect Wayne Black. Born and bred in Bondi, he has always had a burning passion for high quality design. This passion interlocked with a deepened experience working in various sized architectural firms within the Sydney metropolitan, eventually galvanized into the commencement of the current practice in 1996. The practice has been and will always be diversified in its design style. Experience has strongly indicated that every project presents a plethora of challenges ranging from establishment of the brief - through to the final coat of paint. Our office undertakes every project with diligence and professionalism. We work closely with our clients to inevitably form a great team and this has enabled us to achieve outstanding results. Our office has for many years dealt with a number of local Councils, mainly Waverley, Woollahra, Randwick, Sydney City, but also Rockdale, Burwood and Leichhardt, although at times there are others. The assessment process can be harrowing and frustrating and is usually due to changes in LEP’s, Council Development Controls, BCA, planning legislation and statutory policies, not to mention staff turnover and changes during the assessment process. We can never guarantee consent approval, not these days, but suffice to say that we have a very good track record. We will tackle all problems head on and try and place our clients in the very best position. We can also assist with the engagement of expert planners on your behalf, should the need arise.
